Our campaign “Climb with Charlie” has been selected as a finalist for the World Public Relations & Communication Awards 2023, organised by Global Alliance.
RTE’s legendary broadcaster Charlie Bird set up the “Climb with Charlie” campaign following his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease to help and show support for everyone who has to climb their own physical and mental mountains in their daily lives.
“Climb with Charlie” ignited a nation and raised €3.6 million for two great charities through climbs organised as far away in the US, Australia, South Africa, and Spain.
Our firm managed the development of the campaign through working with sponsors such as Dunnes Stores and by creating awareness for the overall project.
The success of “Climb with Charlie” remains an enormous success story down to one man’s commitment to turning a negative into a positive following his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease. We remain humbled and energised by the impact this event has had on all of us involved.
