Ireland: The Island That Keeps Getting Busier
They say the world beats a path to our door and when you’re an island, that path tends to involve a runway, a helipad, or a rather well-appointed jet.
Wonderful to play a role in today’s The Irish Business and General Aviation Association (IBGAA) annual Business Aviation and Luxe Tourism Conference today for its third edition this time landing in Kildare.
Great to catch up with pilot and my skipper Alan Nee and co founder of the IBGAA Joe Buckley. Alan taught me how to fly and overcome a fear of flying many moons ago in a selection of helicopters Robinson 22, 44 and the jet rangers.
And what better way to start than with a pre-conference showcase at @WestonAirport last night where attendees got a chance to get up close with an array of business aircraft, helicopters.
Thank you Gulfstream Aerospace for the selection of top class goodies and super support. Gulfstream Aerospace is headline sponsor proof that when it comes to aviation excellence, Ireland is firmly on the global map (and not just for the weather radar). NetJets Tom Lyons The Currency
From Kildare’s green fields to stunning Weston’s runways, this great global event proves that Ireland’s skies are open for business and that our island may be small, but it sure knows how to make a landing. Well done all.
