Lifetime Fellowship for our Managing Director, Paul Allen
Paul Allen & Associates’ Managing Director, Paul Allen, has today (Thursday 17th December) been awarded a Life Fellowship of the European Institute of Public Relations for his contribution to the profession.
Paul has beeen a leading figure in the Irish public relaions industry for over thirty years and he founded Paul Allen & Associates in 1992. His particular areas of practice expertise are corporate communications, crisis management and public affairs.
Commenting on the Life Fellowship Award, Paul said; ‘’it’s a terrific honour to receive this award and I would like to sincerely thank the Academic Council of the European Institute and Eugene Grey. The year has seen plenty of bumps on the road and ups and downs, but our team maintained a steady course of action and worked hard, resulting in a very successful year for our firm. I would like to acknowledge the great people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, the clients we have worked for and the fantastic staff members, past and present, who have played a critical role.’’
In the course of his career, Paul has worked with five Taoisigh, two US Presidents, two UK Prime Ministers and was extensively involved in the Northern Ireland Peace Process. A veteran of Irish political campaigns, Paul also managed four Irish Presidential campaigns.
More recently, he developed and managed the hugely successful ‘Irish For Biden’ campaign alongside the Democratic Party in the US.
